Quality Assurance Unit

The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of the Agribusiness Study Program is one of the units in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jember which has the task of ensuring that the academic implementation process in the internal environment of the Agribusiness Study Program. QAU runs as it should be based on the standards that have been set. In addition to the academic field, internal quality assurance is also carried out in the fields of general administration, student affairs, and cooperation.
Monitoring and evaluation are carried out in the form of an Internal Quality Audit (AMI) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures which are carried out regularly every year at the end of the fiscal year. The goal is to ensure a match between the realization achieved and the target set at the beginning of the year.
QAU Study Program refers to the “Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA)” CYCLE in carrying out its duties. In addition, the activities of planning, implementing, controlling, and developing higher education quality standards consistently and continuously aim to provide service satisfaction to both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties of QAU Agribusiness Study Program:
1. Develop various standards and quality points
2. Developing Monitoring and Evaluation Instruments
3. Carrying out Monitoring and Evaluation of Quality Assurance Implementation in Study Programs
4. Coordinate Preparation and Implementation of Study Program Accreditation and legality
5. Carry out the coordination of the quality cycle and improvement of quality standards at the study program level
6. Coordinate the study program database
7. Looking for solutions for academic excellence
8. Prepare periodic reports and recommendations to the Dean

Performance Indicators of QAU Agribusiness Study Program:
1. Compilation of various standards and quality points
2. Preparation of Monitoring and Evaluation instruments
3. Implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation of Quality Assurance Implementation in Study Programs
4. Coordinated Preparation and Implementation of Study Program Accreditation and Legality

Authority of QAU Agribusiness Study Program:
1. Provide considerations and quality control in the Agribusiness Study Program
2. Request reports on quality program development activities in the study program environment through the Faculty Quality Assurance Group and Deputy Dean I.
